This podcast is one I come back to hoping to see how I will be challenged and encouraged. I just listened to a 2020 episode with Dr. Esau McCaulley and Sheila Wise Rowe. This helped me to think about how to support my brothers and sisters in ministry with paying attention and beginning healing of their own racial trauma.
Sharing thanks for the “Dreaming of a Not-White Christmas” series! We have gained meaningful new perspective on how we in America typically celebrate Christmas and how we can do it better from this collaboration between Nancy Wang Yuen & Jemar Tisby. Hoping for more from this beautiful team!
I was listening to another podcast when a guest mentioned this podcast in passing and I decided to explore and boy, was I blessed 🥲. I’m binging on all the episodes. Thank you guys for being such great witnesses for Christ. I live in Oklahoma and have experienced some of the worst cases described by your guests.
I’ve been listening to this podcast nearly from the start, but finally felt moved to actually leave a review after listening to the excellent conversation with Min Jin Lee. Highly recommend this podcast (both with past and present host). Thanks for bringing these conversations together.
I loved Esau McCauley as host and was sorry he had to move on to new projects, but I’m loving Nancy Yuen now too.
I was so thrilled that Nancy had Gene Yang, author of American Born Chinese, on the show. Great discussion!
