  • Best podcast out there

This is my first podcast review those I’ve listened to many over the years. I really believe this is the best podcast out there. It’s full of wisdom, sensitivity, honesty, and humility (and enough levity too). I’m so thankful and have learned so much even as a longtime believer.

  • Enjoy the podcast and missing scholars

I really enjoy this podcast. I do miss that the format has changed and that scholars aren’t featured like they originally were. I appreciated hearing diverse voices. But Kaitlyn and Mike are doing a great job.

  • Uplifting

I never leave reviews, but the “Does God Love Dictators” episode compelled me to write this. It was such a balm to my aching soul and a reminder of what we as Christians should be mindful of in these tumultuous times. No matter what our earthly leaders do, God is the final judge. I certainly needed to be reminded of that.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Will there be competition in heaven?
Q: Will there be competition in heaven?
Kaitlyn discusses that while competition may exist in terms of different talents and abilities, it will not include jealousy or harmful comparison, allowing for a joyful experience.
Is Heaven Up or Down?
Q: How far up do you think Jesus went?
It's uncertain, but it highlights the human inclination to look up and be in awe.
Is Heaven Up or Down?
Q: Where is my grandma now?
She is with God, awaiting the resurrection of her body and the reunion of her soul and body.
Did Jesus ever get sick?
Q: Did Jesus ever get sick?
Jesus likely got sick, even though the Bible doesn't specifically mention it. Just like He experienced hunger and fatigue, it's reasonable to believe He faced illness too.
Why did God make everything but people made sidewalks?
Q: If God created everything, then why did people create sidewalks?
God did make everything, and that is so cool and amazing. God made absolutely everything. And also, God loved us so much that he wanted us to get to make things too. So sidewalks are a really cool way that we do that, because when I'm walking on the sidewalk, sometimes I see my friends, sometimes I take a walk with my friends on the sidewalk.
