  • Love French Fridays!

I love the analysis that Skye and David do on French Fridays especially as it relates to what is happening in the world at large. But I think that with both of them being professing Christians, they miss an opportunity to talk about the sovereignty of God despite not liking what is happening in the headlines or the leadership of the United States. I am also appalled by our leadership and the way so many evangelicals rush to defend reprehensible behaviors. But because of situations out of cont... more

  • Sometimes a 1 and sometimes a 5

I will always listen to an interview with David French as well as Drew. But this business of cutting off episodes and demanding subscriptions has got to go it is an annoying and very disappointing approach.

Mail Bag
Q: Is capitalism something to reject, reform, or hold loosely, and how should Christians talk about it without ignoring both harms and benefits?
They acknowledge legitimate critiques of capitalism while arguing for a nuanced approach that recognizes both harms and benefits, proposing careful discussion that remains faithful to core values and avoids ideological extremes.
Mail Bag
Q: How do you keep from becoming part of the evangelical industrial complex you critique as Holy Post Media grows?
The hosts emphasize staying editorially independent by avoiding major donors, relying on Holy Post Plus subscriptions, and prioritizing thoughtful guests over celebrity status to avoid the pitfalls of mass-audience or advertising-driven incentives.
Mail Bag
Q: I would love to hear Skye talk about the correct way to interpret and teach that passage (John 13).
Skye explains that the passage isn't primarily about leadership or subservience, but about humbling oneself and understanding identity in relation to God, as well as the crowd's reaction to a humble, crucified Messiah.
French Friday: Can We Redefine Christian Zionism?
Q: Is the only solution to anti-Semitism Zionism, or Zionism as defined by the most radical proponents of the Jewish state?
The argument against the idea of Israel as a Jewish state is understandable in the abstract, but given the history of persecution of Jews, many believe that a Jewish state is necessary for their security.
The SkyePod - Air Mail
Q: What are your thoughts on participating in interfaith outreach?
Skye believes it is essential to partner with anyone who is committed to the well-being of their neighbors, regardless of religious beliefs, and that love should be an expression of faith, not a tactic for evangelism.

This show centers on religion, culture, politics, and contemporary ethics through conversation between the host and a rotating set of guests.
