  • Nervous about change

I was sad to see Mike Cosper go and now I’m sad that Clarissa Moll is also leaving. I have loved listening to this podcast for the last 5 years. Mike, Clarissa, Russel, and Nicole have been welcome voices from my truck speakers reminding me that there are people in the world who haven’t gone crazy. I hope the podcast continues to speak truth from a Christian perspective and whoever the new hosts are have the same wisdom and candor as past hosts.

  • Feeling hopeful

Solid facts, hope, and a Christian perspective. It’s so hard to find all of those things in one place these days, and especially when handling political information! The Bulletin was recommended to me by my brother at a time when I felt like I had lost my footing as a conservative Christian who no longer identifies with the GOP and listening made me feel sane again.

  • Why did Mike Cosper leave so suddenly? It is too suspicious to trust.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rubio's Presidential Bid, College Cybercrime, and Psychiatric Med Skeptics
Q: How would you respond to the argument that psychiatric medications may be overprescribed, especially for children?
The discussion acknowledges overprescription concerns but rejects a blanket rejection of medications; it emphasizes nuanced, individualized care, the importance of evaluating symptoms, and integrating spiritual care with medical treatment.
Rubio's Presidential Bid, College Cybercrime, and Psychiatric Med Skeptics
Q: Michael, is this the profile of somebody who's making a concerted bid for the presidency in 2028?
Yes, Rubio appears to be positioning himself with a forward-facing, 'face to camera' strategy that signals readiness for a future run, while aligning with Trump-era messaging to maintain, or extend, the coalition's appeal.
Voting Maps, DHS Funding, Troops in Europe, and Reclaiming ‘Evangelical’
Q: Bonnie, where did the word evangelical come from and what's its backstory?
The term emerged in the early 1800s from revival-era Christians and was rebranded in the mid-20th century by evangelical organizations; it gained mainstream visibility around 1976 with Carter's presidency, evolving into a broader cultural and political term.
Midwest Primaries, Taiwan’s Ukraine Lessons, and Abortion Pill Case
Q: Mark, what are the US and China hoping to achieve in these upcoming meetings?
The expectation is to diffuse tensions, balance economic and strategic interests, and manage the complex relationships with Taiwan amid broader regional dynamics and competition with China, including how Ukraine and Iran influence perceptions.
Midwest Primaries, Taiwan’s Ukraine Lessons, and Abortion Pill Case
Q: Chris, how was this set of primaries different from others we've seen in the past?
The panel notes a more active involvement by national factions and groups in redistricting, with a shift toward aggressive map-making while avoiding breaking up communities, leading to greater polarization and less incumbent risk in some cases.
