  • A voice of sanity in a chaotic world

With all the tumultuous, Christian, anti-Christian, political, easy-answer rhetoric circulating throughout America, I find Russell Moore provides a space for thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. I don’t agree with all—but that’s what America is supposed to be about.

Great Christian podcast! I appreciate Russell Moore’s thoughtful, Bible-based perspective that rises above politics and stays grounded in faith and scripture. I’m always excited when a new episode becomes available.

  • Pure Conservative talking points

If you are looking for Jesus and his teachings, look elsewhere.

    He has literally said:

“Sometimes the MOST loving thing you can do to your enemies is kill them.”

Claims to not like Trump but continually works to white wash his policy and rhetoric.

  • Thanks for your work

Faithful but flawed Roman Catholic here, I deeply appreciate your show. Every time I listen, I learn something new and grow in faith, sometimes even despite myself. The things that divide Christians are nothing compared to the one who unites us. Keep up the good work.

  • Love this show

Episcopalian here. It’s wonderful to hear a faith leader from a different Christian denomination approaching humanity with love, and exploring many viewpoints. Please keep up the good work!

How Should Christians Read the Media?
Q: Can you share practical places or outlets you trust to start forming a well-rounded view of current events?
Rely on a mix of well-established outlets with rigorous fact-checking and transparent corrections; read widely rather than rely on one source; be cautious of outlets with obvious ideological slants and always look for corroboration from multiple outlets.
How Should Christians Read the Media?
Q: What is the best way to engage church communities who are drawn to or distrustful of media in general?
Encourage research beyond Google, teach people how to assess sources, and advocate for conversations that test information in good faith. Emphasize accountability, transparency, and understanding biases without devolving into blanket cynicism.
How Should Christians Read the Media?
Q: Hi Dr. Moore, how should Christians respond to hostility toward mainstream media and the tendency toward non-traditional sources?
Adopt a stance of cautious, one-step skepticism, seek accountable outlets with fact-checking, and avoid defaulting to conspiratorial thinking. Look for credible evidence, cross-check across multiple sources, and maintain humility in recognizing that no single outlet has a monopoly on truth.
John Lennox on What He Knows at 82
Q: How do you explain the idea that small events can change the world?
Lennox argues that God can orchestrate seemingly minor moments to alter trajectories, using examples from his own life to illustrate how belief and divine sovereignty interact with human responsibility.
How Do We Grieve the Loss of a Spiritual Leader?
Q: How do you cope with the loss of a pastor who was a fountain of wisdom and a significant influence in the church?
Emphasize gratitude for the ways God used that leader, acknowledge the value of their teaching, and keep the gospel central as you grieve; avoid trying to clone the predecessor and instead trust God to provide leadership for the future.
