This podcast does a great job of highlighting important local issues, and bringing a diverse group of perspectives to the table.
Craig is a great facilitator and interviewer, because he isn’t afraid to be honest, or to “let a guest cook” as the kids say, but will push back as well in an attempt to get down to the truth.
Cheryl Miller is the GOAT when it comes to guests - a must listen any time they feature her.

This is a good podcast. Good guests and information. My only complaint is that two a week isn’t enough. There’s a shortage of local news and information in this city.
Every time John Fyfe-Millar says “at the end of the day” take a shot - you will be seeing double at the end of the day.

A locally focused, conversation-driven program that covers municipal politics, housing, public health, and neighborhood issues in a mid-sized Canadian city. Episodes typically feature a veteran host in dialogue with city officials, advocates, and local experts to unpack policy decisions, governance challenges, and community impacts. Noteworthy is the mix of election coverage, housing and homelessness debates, and governance transparency, often anchored by data, case studies, and personal stories from residents and front-line workers. The show likely appeals to listeners who want practical insight into how local policy shapes everyday life and who appreciate candid, policy-forward discussion with a regional lens.
