Much as I like At Issue I think both the format and the guests need an overhaul.
The cynicism is palpable now particularly with Coyne. It’s starting to grate and even Chantal was sounding a little confused and even more dishevelled.
Some new voices, an updated format and less sniping from all would be welcome..
Andrew needs to get over himself occasionally!
there are no weak links on this panel. CH, AC and AR all do their homework before coming on the air, and each of them adds greatly to the discussion. This panel of well informed journalists shows why political operatives should never be invited to participate in serious, public discussions of Canadian politics.
Brief but decent chat on this topic which will not go away anytime soon. As a lifelong Albertan I feel comfortable saying that the sentiment of alienation has been present for the life of the province and has been organized in various forms for the better part of a half century.
