Always lively, thoughtful, humorous, and respectful discussion of alternative viewpoints on current Canadian events. “At Issue” is a real touchstone for political passion and compassion. Thank-you!
I enjoy this show and I respect the perspectives from the different hosts. However, I think the show would benefit from more input from a western and conservative perspective. Quebec gets an overstated place at the table, but what about the other side of the country?
I look forward to this podcast every week. The At Issue panel provides clear-headed, fresh takes on these interesting times.
Much as I like At Issue I think both the format and the guests need an overhaul.
The cynicism is palpable now particularly with Coyne. It’s starting to grate and even Chantal was sounding a little confused and even more dishevelled.
Some new voices, an updated format and less sniping from all would be welcome..
Andrew needs to get over himself occasionally!
there are no weak links on this panel. CH, AC and AR all do their homework before coming on the air, and each of them adds greatly to the discussion. This panel of well informed journalists shows why political operatives should never be invited to participate in serious, public discussions of Canadian politics.
