Advertisements from Fortis BC - please NO!! I appreciate that CBC is underfunded but it’s really distasteful to hear this program reporting on the climate crisis, interrupted by an ad from a dirty fossil fuel company like Fortis. LNG is dirty - make no mistake, and contributing to the climate crisis. I hope you can find funding from elsewhere
Catherine asks incredibly leading questions in her interviews. I’d ask her to use more open ended questions and get the interviewee to be more specific if they dodge. With the leading questions, the guest will almost inevitably dodge the question.
Love catching up on the news with The House and House Parry on the weekends. The commentary is always insightful and witty accompanied by amazing guests with balanced perspectives. The fun and excitement that Cathrine Cullen and her guests show on the podcasts are in deep contrast to the doom and gloom that is so typical in political and news focused shows. The House and the House Party sounds and feels like a chat with friends by the fire, even when debates and interviews get spirited. Thank yo... more
Was so excited to see House Party reappear in my feed this week. I really enjoyed listening to the coverage of the previous federal election getting not just an Ottawa perspective, but also a voice from Quebec and a voice from the West. I really appreciate hearing about how things are being received/viewed outside of Ontario. Hope you stick around for the whole year and beyond! Maybe add a Maritime voice?
PLEASE keep House Party as a regular thing!! We so need a regular politics podcast in Canada. Love the House Party episodes.
