  • I hope the radio stations aren’t getting a stale newscast

Since this week, World Report drops once around midnight ET or something. more

  • Great 10m overview

I like my news in a bit more depth and expertly digested for a week or three, but for brand new situations as they arise, as they affect Canadians, CBC World Report does a good enough job, and I’m unaware of anyone else who comes anywhere close to good enough. I only wish regional and local versions were available. A great podcast which I seldom miss.

  • Frustrated by this show

I understand the need to refresh a show that gets updated hourly, but why do it in such a haphazard way? There is no rhyme or reason to when it gets updated, so there will be times the show gets deleted while I’m in the middle of listening to it. It’s so irritating, especially because I always refresh the feed before listening just to make sure I’m getting the latest episode.

  • Debunked claims to fuel ethnic cleansing??

Today’s lil clip of schoolyard overhearing “one individual told this other news source this horrifying thing”. But that thing has been not just unproven but DISPROVEN over the past 2 months. I’ve held my nose the way CBC has covered the genocide in Palestine bc being generally informed about local and world events has been worth it to me. But I can’t stomach it anymore. It’s too much. These “journalists” should be ashamed.

  • Stop advertising names of mass shooters.

It is proven that mass shooters are encouraged by news organizations publishing their names. CBC says their names over and over, making them anti-heroes, while never mentioning victim’s names because their are simply too many of them. The murdered and maimed get lost and the news makes these murdering men somewhat well known. Disgusting.
