Tried to listen to the episode about SSRIs and couldn’t even get past the first 5 minutes of the guest speaking.Horrible interviewing skills from the host.

The guest had her child interrupting her, which is fine, but edit it out? I don’t want to listen to the guest asking her child to be quiet. Not everyone needs a podcast…

  • Good info, but her birth story podcast made me question if I want to keep listening to her

I have listened to a handful of episodes that presented information on birth in general, and they were interesting. I was curious about her birth story when I saw that episode come out, so I listened to that (first episode I’ve listened to where she shared personal information rather than general birth education), and it honestly rubbed me the wrong way on several different occasions. First, I was weirded out by the fact that she referred to her baby as “they/them” throughout almost the entire e... more

  • Not the full perspective

I continue to listen to this podcast because it gives valuable information. The podcast give you the information that medical providers do not want you to know but it does not give you the information to put the information the providers do want you to know into context. It is so hard to find places that give you the full picture. I feel like this podcast give you the alternate perspective on the topics discussed, but it only give you the opposite side not both sides. The effect this podcast had... more

  • Only women can give birth

Info isn’t bad, however, how can people take your info seriously when you don’t even admit the biggest fact of biology and birth? Only BIOLOGICAL WOMEN can give birth.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 438: Circumcision Through a Pro Lens: Health, Tradition, and Prevention with Dr. David R. Tomlinson
Q: When is the best time to circumcise a newborn, and why does timing vary?
The 'sweet spot' is typically between 7 and 14 days, though the window can extend to 28 days in some cases; timing depends on healing, anatomy, prematurity, and the potential for complications with older age.
Ep. 438: Circumcision Through a Pro Lens: Health, Tradition, and Prevention with Dr. David R. Tomlinson
Q: What are the safety concerns with circumcision devices today?
There are three common devices, and each has potential flaws that can injure the newborn if not used correctly; eliminations include preventing mismatched parts and using shields to protect the tip during incision.
Ep. 434: Why Surrogacy Is a Celebration, Not a Sacrifice: A Pro Perspective with Tiffany
Q: How did you find the families you surrogated for and what did the matching process look like?
She describes researching Christian surrogacy agencies, meeting the first couple in person with the agency director, and then moving to remote meetings for subsequent matches, focusing on shared values and clear communication with both spouses.
Ep. 433: Risks & Realities of Surrogacy: An Anti Perspective with Kallie Fell
Q: What changes would you like to see in U.S. policy to protect mothers and children?
I'd like clear birth certificates reflecting all contributors, a national long-term health database for donors and surrogates, and restrictive or abolitionist legislation that eliminates financial incentives and tightens protections around autonomy and consent.
Ep. 433: Risks & Realities of Surrogacy: An Anti Perspective with Kallie Fell
Q: Is there a viable ethical way to do surrogacy, or should it be abolished altogether?
From my perspective, there is no ethical framework that can fully reconcile the rights of the child with the contractual dynamics of surrogacy; therefore, I advocate abolition, with policy steps like limiting international arrangements, establishing comprehensive birth records, and pushing for non-commercial alternatives where possible.
