  • Lacking knowledge in current topics

As a massive Batman fan and all things DC. This show is awful. Everyone that comes on here doesn’t do any research and has zero clue on what’s really going on. If you’re gonna do a podcast about a topic, find people that know what their talking about. This is really bad and a giant waste of time.

  • Terrible Takes on The Batman

Just a bunch of whiney babies who go into moves looking for what not to like. Literally haven’t heard anyone try to be so negative about what was a really solid movie. Just a bunch of Twitter trolls with a podcast

  • Lacking knowledge in current topics

I just found this show today, and overall I liked it. But I don’t know how you can have a Batman podcast and not know a lot of the information that’s been out there for months. Regarding the new Batman film, flash and other topics you guys must have missed a lot of casting, storylines and info that we have already heard. I will continue to listen but do ALOT more research and be up to date on what you’re talking about.

  • Pretty good, respectful, knowledgeable podcast

Pretty good show, even if they seem to have stopped updating a long time ago. These guys are knowledgeable of everything Batman related and respectful of the various interpretations and adaptions. They are good fans.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 275: Interview w/Collin Colsher, Founder of The Batman Chronology Project
Q: Can you take our listeners through that journey, getting started and building this into what it is today?
Collin shares that his love for comics began at a young age, and his project started out as a simple reading blog but evolved into a detailed chronological site for Batman, inspired by the challenges he faced in finding a coherent reading order.
Episode 272: Batman and The Court of Owls
Q: Do you see the Court of Owls as a benefit or a hindrance to Batman's story now in 2025?
It can be a benefit if used well; it depends on the creativity and execution of the stories involving them.
Episode 272: Batman and The Court of Owls
Q: How did you feel about the New 52 element when you first read Batman, The Court of Owls?
I felt very cynical and bitter, as it was a big company-wide relaunch of all DC Comics titles, wiping much of the continuity clean, making it a tall order for writers to impress readers.
Episode 271: Batman’s Live-Action Debut: Pulp & Propaganda
Q: Do you think this is an important part of Batman history?
Maybe not an important part, but it kept Batman in the public eye and encouraged comic sales during that time.
Episode 271: Batman’s Live-Action Debut: Pulp & Propaganda
Q: What do you make of the story?
I was more entertained with the story at the beginning, then it got repetitive, and towards the end, it picked up.
