Been a fan since it was Jason and Pete. Meaning 2006 or mid 2007.
But fell off. Tried to come back and hearing Jason and Jimmy complain about “woke” broke my heart.
But I still dip back in once in a while. I think its more my relationship with star wars changed when disney bought it. Its tough to get excited when disney is pumping it out all the time.
Way too many commercials - not just at the beginning (I could live with that) but then another commercial break about 25 minutes in and 4-5 more commercials. Also, this was the episode about Straighter rumors, and 40 minutes into the podcast and there was nothing about Straighter, which the name of the podcast led me to believe was the main subject. I won’t give this podcast another try.
This is a good podcast, and it’s been going since 2013. I would recommend giving it a listen. The Hosts are entertaining, and covers relevant things as they happen, but the episodes are very long. Overall, Good show!
Listening to Jason and Jimmy is such a comfort thing - it’s like listening to a couple uncles talk about the Wars in a fashion I was brought up in. It’s separate from the way media is discussed on most public forums and as a young kid in my 20’s, it’s such a relief there’s still people that care like these guys. Been listening since 2019 and a Patreon member since 2023 (best idea I’ve ever had). As a Midwest guy, I feel right at home. Cheers guys
I’ve been listening since 2019. Great show, great guys, and great community!
