Even the witches of Dathomir couldn’t conjure up a better podcast.
Children of the Watch is my favorite Start Wars podcast! I started listening during The Acolyte and listened to most that came before that and all that came after (some more than once!
It’s easy to feel like you’re part of the conversation, especially with all of the irresponsible speculation that goes on.
I can NOT wait for Maul- Shadow Lord and especially for the COTW breakdown episodes.. I can’t wait to see if the show goes to Dathomir.
Thanks for all you do, Alex and Mac!
I highly recommend following this podcast if you are a Star Wars fan and want to become part of this amazing community. Alex and Mac are very knowledgeable about Star Wars and have a great sense of humor. Their Discord community is terrific as well! A special shout out to Dathomir with Maul premiering soon!
I love you guys!!! WIZARD podcast lol. Dathomir!
Alex and Mac follow the Ted Lasso philosophy of "Be curious, not judgemental." They are engaging hosts, knowledgable about all things Star Wars, and really enhance my enjoyment of new shows/movies as they are released.

A lively, deep-dive show that dissects new Star Wars live-action episodes with a focus on lore, character psychology, and world-building, often pairing episode breakdowns with broader franchise context. Recent discussions highlight Mandalorian politics, the New Republic era, the Darksaber saga, and cross-media implications, plus guest perspectives that broaden the discussion with outside viewpoints. The hosts' banter and willingness to speculate on of-the-moment topics (like amnesty arcs, Rogue Squadron chatter, and potential cross-media connections) make for insightful, entertaining listening that also serves as a resource for fans and media pros looking to understand audience engagement and storytelling in this universe.
