  • Clickbait Central Now

As a UK based 49ers fan the show used to be essential daily listening. Crock is a good host but Peacock’s Shanahan fanboy routine has taken over , added to that is the Locked On obsession with clickbait garbage. There is always an excuse why nothing lands on Kyle. No mention of the genius’s unique talent to blow 4th quarter Super Bowl leads. Every issue highlighted is linked to Kyle but he’s never the problem. The post-season is not great. Make it up as you go along stories & pointless mock draf... more

  • The Squad Show?

The squad show version of this show is very unprofessional. I get that it is an opinion based show, but come on? Unless people like to hear a flow of negativity? I get that you don’t have to like everything the team does, but tone down the negative vibes

  • Almost Perfect

As a UK based 49ers fan the show is essential daily listening. Peacock & Crock are great hosts during the season, great talking points everyday, although Peacock is a real Shanahan fanboy always finding an excuse why nothing lands on Kyle. The post-season is not great. Make it up as you go along stories & pointless mock drafts for players who will never get near the 49ers. Then there is the delusional, unlistenable Winky Wednesday every week. I can’t last 2 minutes of his happy clapping waffle.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Where San Francisco 49ers Rank in an NFL Re-Draft // Kyle Shanahan vs Sean McVay vs Mike Macdonald
Q: Who would go first in a league-wide redraft for the 49ers—player or coach?
The hosts agree that the first pick would likely be Kyle Shanahan, not a player, due to the depth and longevity a great coach brings to a franchise.
2019 vs 2023: The BEST 49ers Teams During the Kyle Shanahan Era, and Could 2026 Be BETTER?
Q: Which franchise season do they label as the worst, and what's the reasoning?
The 2018 season is labeled the worst by the guests due to significant injuries, instability at quarterback, and an incomplete roster before the defense and pass rush fully arrived, which led to a poor record and draft implications.
2019 vs 2023: The BEST 49ers Teams During the Kyle Shanahan Era, and Could 2026 Be BETTER?
Q: Which year does Wink consider the best so far, and why?
Wink argues that 2023 is the best overall due to the explosive offense, depth at key skill positions, and a historically efficient production profile, with a notable playoff comeback and dominant performance in the regular season.
49ERS SQUAD SHOW: POSITION COMPETITIONS to Watch, Special Guest Matt Maiocco
Q: If there's one position battle that you need to keep an eye on as a 49ers fan in this off season, what is it and why?
The left guard competition stands out as the key battle, with multiple players in the mix, a new draft pick, and the expectation that whoever wins will have to anchor the line and set the tone for the group.
Kyle Van Noy Wants to be a Niner, Should They Spend Some League-Leading Cap Space?
Q: What makes Kyle Van Noy a good fit for the 49ers' defense?
They explain his versatility as a hybrid defender who can rush, drop, and provide veteran leadership to a young group, aligning with the 49ers' need for flexible linebacking options and mentorship for players like Romello Height.
