The author tells a story of two convicts, one current, one former, and the stories they told him, leading up to a discussion of jailhouse informants and their blatant lack of credibility. Check out some of the actual notes written by inmates snitchin... more
Starting section four of the book with a chapter dedicated to Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, and the author's attempts to hire the notorious sleazeball (in our opinion), we start to learn more about why Mandi's jailhouse informants were less than... more
Breaking News! You're not going to want to miss the second half of this episode, where Adam Avitable and Jessica Jackson share some current information on Mandi's appeal. The direction of the podcast for the future is discussed, and all of the skippe... more

This was a great podcast the first two seasons. There was 20 to 25 minutes of primary source narration from the book and then commentary. And season three the past four or five episodes have been literally 3 to 4 minutes of the book followed by an hour of commentary.
I understand that you have to pay bills and you want to get a full season out of the balance of the book but this is getting a little ridiculous. You’re trying to stretch way too much out of what’s left and it’s too high contrast t... more
Came across this while driving for work. It’s binge worthy if you can remember that the narrator is simply reading from (what I assume) is an unpublished book written by someone lacking in some of the finer points of story telling. Season 1 is a great insight/backstory into some of the personal life leading up to the crime by Mandy May Jackson. The review after each episode is even better when you add in Lisa who definitely helps give a woman’s POV. Love it! 👌🏼👌🏼
The host is a piece of garbage. I wanted to die.
I like the podcast, but the cohost... Most of the times her laugh comes across as fake, over the top. Not nice to listen to.
One of the best podcasts I've ever listened to!! And I've listened to them all- wildly fascinating and wonderful dark humor.
