I first heard Neils name when some waterproof shirts were quite the accessory, however, with a button phobia, it wasn't something I could go near. Since then, I heard his name quite often, often linked with James Stentifod on backcountry adventures, ... more

This episode features a rider who owns possibly the best turn in snowboarding. I'll caveat that with 'that I've seen in real life' because the general concensus is that Josh Dirksen has the best turn, but I've never ridden with him. I have ridden wit... more

Thank U Snowboarding investigates the history of snowboarding in the UK. As a lexicon instrument documenting UK snowboarding, it has no peer. Chris does an awesome job hosting. Always well researched his easy style m... more
I worked 10 years in the french alps and I loved each and every one of them , I now help people get out and work seasons. This podcast really documents how good it is to be involved in snowboarding and how snowboarding changed my life. Keep up the good work Chris \m/
New listener… finding the usual suspects of snowboarding circa 1993-2005…

Having done seasons in 98/99/2000/2001 in the Espace Killy (not Tignes-Val d’isere - @willhughes😂) I come here for the old school stories from this generation of snow slashers… life is different now, family, mortgage etc but I still look for that 1 turn on a trip to bring the smile and strive to find the next, hop... more
Great insight, interesting stories and anecdotal dialogues coming first-hand from the plethora of talent and bipedal building blocks within the British snowboard scene past and present. Crackerjack delves into the recent (maybe it isn’t as recent as it feels?!) history via his broad network of friends and acquaintances in the game that give the low-down on the inner workings of a legendary era in British snowboarding and what’s to come of it in the future.
