  • Great Pod!

I’ve laughed so much. I’ve got tears when topics got deep. I’ve got great information from pros, coaches & Save a brain. This is a must for snow community and action sports. My favorite episodes has been Ken Blocks, Travis Rice. And Kelsey Boyer’s episode came out while I was being treated for a bad concussion from a car crash. It was exactly what I need in my life at that moment. Keep up the good work!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fast Chat: Nils Mindnich
Q: How did becoming a father influence your approach to NST and your performance?
Fatherhood brought a new level of focus and aggression; Mindnich mentions the emotional support from family and the need to balance logistics, ultimately driving a disciplined mindset and a calmer, more confident approach to the contest.
Fast Chat: Nils Mindnich
Q: What were the ingredients to get you in that mindset during qualifiers and finals?
Mindnich explains he spent significant time preparing mentally and physically over the past two years, dialing in the routine, and then making a decisive plan two weeks before the event to commit to a single, powerful run rather than overthinking the process.
Brandon Davis | The Bomb Hole Episode 243
Q: What was Brandon's most memorable part of being a professional snowboarder that he never saw coming?
He valued the freedom to control his own time and schedule, recognizing that being able to balance winter competition with summers filming and personal downtime was a major unexpected benefit of the pro path.
Tommy Delago | The Bomb Hole Episode 242
Q: How did Nitro get started?
Tommy explains that Nitro began as a collaborative effort in Europe with distribution partners and eventually evolved into its own brand after disagreements with other firms; the key was leveraging existing dealer networks and expertise to launch a line, then growing from there.
Group Chat #36 w/ Mark Dangler, Dave Downing, Matt Patti and Egan Wint
Q: In your opinion, what makes a good all-mountain snowboard?
A good all-mountain snowboard should be directional with a medium flex, and for personal use, I prefer a soft board between the feet and stiff at the tip and tail.
