  • Guests are great. Hosts are a joke.

The hosts of this podcast are terrible. They sound super unintelligent. The Jake Phelps episode is amazing because he put them right where they belong. I highly recommend that episode because he is not having it. These guys don’t sound like they skate at all they just sound like bad actors. It’s very hard to listen to. I don’t understand how it has such good reviews. Vans needs to find new hosts.

Shadow banning, and deleting comments is not the right move, especially when you’ve dragged certain skateboarders names through the mud for unproven allegations, then they have a skater who’s been accused of sex crimes on the podcast and completely disregard the real victims side of the story. I hope skateboarders realize how hypocritical these two are. You should both transition into women and show your true feminine colo... more

Talking Points

The Bunt Ft. Aaron Snyder S24 Episode 02 “Oh shit, another developing board brand I can eventually get kicked off of.”
Q: What is your first big break in the skate industry?
His first big break was Lake Owen Skate Camp, where he connected with prominent pro skaters, started feeling at home in California and built early media connections that opened doors to the industry.
The Bunt Ft. Gabriel Summers S24 Episode 01 “I don't want to talk about my f-ing thumb anymore”
Q: How did the move from Zero to Thames transpire behind the scenes?
It happened gradually through a long‑standing friendship with Jared Carter, and Blondie's proposition felt like a cool, left‑field opportunity that matched his humor and vision; it brought a fresh environment that helped him shift his mindset.
The Bunt Ft. Ishod Wair S23 Episode 12 "I can't remember it being hard, I'm pretty sure it wasn't."
Q: What was your first big break in skateboarding?
I started getting noticed after skating in local scenes and a sponsor push from a shop owner; the resume concept came later when I earned more sponsorships and exposure from contests.
The Bunt Ft. Danny Cerezini S23 Episode 08 "No drivers license, no passport, and drunk."
Q: What was your first big break in the skate industry?
Danny explains that being noticed at a contest by Flip and Vans and then going to America at 13 was the catalyst, leading to major opportunities with Flip, Vans, and later transitions to other brands as his career evolved.
The Bunt Ft. Zander Mitchell S23 Episode 02 "If I land this one, debts cleared."
Q: What was your first big break in the skate industry?
Maybe getting on ASICS like two, three years ago. That was like probably the first real sponsor that I had.
