  • Skate nerd paradise

Excellent podcast for any skate nerd like me wanting a skate podcast with a bit more brain and authenticity than some of the other skate podcasts out there. And it keeps on getting better. The list of previous interviewees is just so impressive and interesting, with a great mix of nationalities and occupations, from relatively unknown names to “top-tear” skaters or industry heads. Keep it up, Quentin. You’re killing it!

Episode 109 - Rose Archie
Q: How do you find time to run a non-profit organization while having a full-time job?
I think of Nations Skate Youth not as a job but a passion, which allows me to balance responsibilities by organizing meetings over lunch and in my free time.
Episode 109 - Rose Archie
Q: What does BYN mean?
BYN stands for an inside joke that I have with friends about a rude lady who yelled at us while we were skating, and it became a fun term between us.
Episode 109 - Rose Archie
Q: Can you tell us about one of the kids you've met on your journey that just stands out to you?
There was a young boy named Cedar, who after receiving a skateboard, proudly embraced his name and identity despite being bullied.
Episode 108 - Jeremy Elkin
Q: You've been a part of a lot of really interesting projects over the years. What is the biggest blunder you've ever made?
There are two moments that come to mind. One was filming Brian Dillatore kick flip over a rail, but I should have filmed it differently, and I ended up not being able to use it.
