  • Legends media

Just want to say I love the show! Found it a while back and it’s a great tool for legends content. Started reading the legends media back in August of 2022. I’m almost done with Jax Pavans story and I’m loving it! Curious to see who’s your favorite EU Jedi or Character (Non Skywalker or main characters)? I really like Jax and the crew, and Zane Carrick from the KOTOR comics! Thanks and Keep on Trucking!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 139 - The Crystal Star with Krystle
Q: What are your overall thoughts about the book?
Krystle notes that The Crystal Star is not one of her favorites but appreciates the strong child-centered sections with Jaina Solo, while criticizing Luke and Leia's portrayals and the handling of Waru and the Force. She also highlights the audiobook pacing and format as a positive contrast to the printed version.
Ep 136 - X-Wing: Isard's Revenge
Q: How about we start with a listener question? Today's email comes from Ugo. Ugo says, Hello Aaron, When you covered the Coruscant Knights trilogy and The Last Jedi, we saw that there were a lot of Inquisitors.
Aaron responds that while Inquisitors are more prominent in some Legends materials, there was no definitive purge documented within the Inquisitorius in Legends; he also notes the earliest mentions were in role-playing game sources and expands on the presence of former Jedi as Inquisitors across various formats, acknowledging canon tensions but affirming Legends continuity.
Ep 133 - Jedi Apprentice series pt. 4
Q: How does the dynamic between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan change in this arc?
Moats observes that the dynamic has shown growth as Ciri has matured, but he hopes to see more tension and challenges between the two as their Master and Padawan relationship develops.
Ep 133 - Jedi Apprentice series pt. 4
Q: What do you think about the comparison between Jafar and Palpatine?
Moats agrees with the insight, noting that while Palpatine plays different roles based on his appearance, his intrinsic thoughts remain unchanged; he maintains a monstrous mindset regardless of his outward persona.
Ep 131 - Jedi Apprentice series pt. 2
Q: What are your thoughts on the relationships between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan?
Moats expresses admiration for how the relationship dynamics reflect their respective growth and decision-making, highlighting the challenges of communication.
