I enjoyed this podcast. It certainly had a New York focus as one reviewer mentioned, but I liked the journalistic approach to food. Definitely enjoyable for food-lovers.
Can't wait for this podcast to come back! I miss these two and listening to them on my morning commute. It's very informative and takes experts from both sides to examine the food at hand.
I have been a long time listener to The Sporkful. This is a great follow up to that podcast with a lot more content. These two hosts should either do more of these or do a podcast on food together.
I appreciate that although Laura is a vegetarian, she approached this episode with as much enthusiasm as the previous episodes. Too bad Dan didn't handle it with as much grace. :-). I don't subscribe to a lot of podcasts because I like podcasts that teach me something about the world we live it. This podcast does just that. Great show guys! - 03/24/13

This programme made me think much more critically about what I eat, the food industry, and sustainability. I learned a lot and enjoyed the humour of the presenters. I was sad to see the podcast terminated so soon, and I hope it will return.
I enjoy this podcast and the way they look into where certain foods come from. My only gripe is Dan constantly mentioning that Laura is a vegetarian. I'm a vegetarian as well and I hate when someone else mentions it in situations where it's not relevant. Like the queso episode? She's not vegan so why was the vegetarian thing brought up?
Love this new podcast! A perfect combo of informative, entertaining, fun and thoughtful. I love the structure of it -- with two different interviews followed by their cooking experience. I look forward to more!
I came from to this podcast as a Sporkful fan who sometimes finds Dan's gleeful fixation on minutiae a little exhausting. Table to Farm is, in my opinion, even more enjoyable, moderated by Laura's journalist's approach. You get to indulge in all a food-lover's enthusiasm and learn from knowledgeable guests.

This is a horrible podcast and should be stopped immediately. I am a fan of Slate, but the quality of this podcast makes me doubt the integrity of all other Slate pieces.
In no other Slate work would an author be allowed to fawningly interview a single expert without examining other sides — or even asking moderately tough questions.
