I never thought I’d be able to find a podcast where there was 2 ladies who actually conversed with comedy but also respect for the families and victims. I started with morbid and had such a hard time finding something, but then found your podcast! I’ve started from the beginning because I’m all caught up on the most recent. Y’all are wonderful!
Loving the podcast came upon you during the most recent collab. Well researched.
My first episode was #142. The bones of the podcast was good - SAS is easy to follow and listen to, the conversation flows and they explain the story/crime really well… What I didn’t like was that on this particular episode there was 19 minutes of talk at the start that was unrelated to the crime in any way. love you guys and your thorough research!

That’s a hard line to maintain; the subject matter is serious and Megan and Lindsay give it all the empathy and compassion it deserves. At the same time, they obviously have a very close friendship and their humor with each... more

Two Utah-based hosts produce a true crime series that blends meticulous case research with personal storytelling. Across recent episodes, they unpack violent crimes, courtroom dynamics, and the human impact on victims' families, while weaving in production notes and host banter that keeps the narrative engaging. Notable touches include documentary-style storytelling, strong emphasis on victims and justice, and occasional humor used to balance heavy subjects. The format tends to center on deep case background, survivor or family perspectives, and thoughtful commentary that can appeal to listeners who crave thorough, empathetic crime storytelling with a conversational vibe.
