  • Women in health leadership win but needs focus on substance

This is a nice balance to the male-dominated content out there and many interesting and valuable takes, but it’s buried. I’d like to hear more time spent on content and source of opinions and less time spent on ego and promotion of self/hosts and guests.

  • Fast follower of these strong voices (and yes they’re women!)

Loved the conversations and how this trio interviewing Carine brought so many important topics to light. We need to be talking about these important issues more often! #beseen.care #self-advocacy #powerwomen

Behind Kalshi’s $22B rise: Betting on addiction with Dr. Rian Kabir
Q: What role should regulators and society play in mitigating harm without stifling innovation?
Society should set guardrails and regulatory standards to limit access and minimize harm, while recognizing that venture capital tends to follow where regulation allows; media should also highlight societal costs.
Behind Kalshi’s $22B rise: Betting on addiction with Dr. Rian Kabir
Q: What have you observed clinically about patients using these platforms?
Patients can experience severe consequences, including suicidality and broken relationships, driven by money loss, shame, and relentless chasing of losses.

Q: Is Kalshi inherently better or worse than traditional gambling in regulated venues?

Dr. Farzad Mostashari, Aledade CEO, on why more doctors are going independent

AI is used to surface insights across multiple EHRs, support population health, and potentially enhance physician workflows, with the business model anchored in reducing strokes and improving outcomes.
Dr. Farzad Mostashari, Aledade CEO, on why more doctors are going independent
Q: What is Aledade and how do you work with primary care practices?
Aledade partners with primary care practices, provides contracts, tools, coaching, and shares risk for total cost of care, enabling value-based care at scale.
