  • Flipped from objective impartiality

I started listening to these guys years ago for great business acumen, insight, objective points of view from multiple angles and am really sad to say they have all flipped to being a parrot box for the administration. It’s very disappointing.

  • Hard pass

Deeply entitled, super annoying blowhards. This is exactly why we need a fair tax code instead of letting total idiots decide how our country should operate. Being rich means you have money. It does not mean you’re smart.

  • Politically blinded…where is the debate?

So tired of the lapdog right rubber stampers. I still try to listen but now have to skip most of this chatter and nonsense. Let’s get back to business boys! Where are the alternative view experts?

Q: How does Flock address abuse by police or other users, and what safeguards exist?
The company introduced Audit Assistance to detect abnormal search patterns and has implemented a mandatory, multi-person review flow for sensitive data requests; they also emphasize transparency portals for officials to monitor drone flights and camera usage, plus third-party auditing considerations.

Q: What are the current privacy controls, and can residents opt out of certain data collection?
Langley states that communities retain control over data retention and access; there are limits on what is recorded (no facial recognition or in-car searches by Flock), and the company is pushing for hard defaults, with opt-out considerations handled at the municipal level.
Flock CEO Garrett Langley on Controversy, "Surveillance State" Claims, and Privacy vs Safety
Q: How does a community wind up with Flock cameras installed, and what is the decision-making process?
Garrett explains that local governments, city councils, and police chiefs discuss concepts at council meetings, with the city manager and officials making the final call; communities decide retention periods and data sharing rules, while Flock positions itself as a privacy-first option with strong defaults and auditability.
The Trillion-Dollar Industries AI Is Disrupting: Voice, Law & the End of the Billable Hour
Q: How do you mitigate against data leakage with customers' data?
We employ a three-pronged approach: trace everything generated, moderate both voice and text, and build systems that let users quickly verify whether a sample is AI-generated. We also support open-source models and maintain safeguards across the ecosystem.
Dan Loeb: The Lost Art of Short Selling, and Why Stock Picking is Back
Q: Can you walk us through how your investing evolved from a small shop to almost 30 billion in AUM?
The journey started with formal training at places like Warburg Pincus and Jeffries, then hands-on experience in distressed debt and event-driven strategies. Over time, the focus evolved from purely transactional bets to assessing business quality, management capability, and disruption, aided by technology and a broader platform that includes private credit and insurance.
