  • Data center power

You guys continue to talk about data centers not raising utility costs. Can you please try to bring on the utility expert to discuss this topic and more detail. my firsthand experience in our company is that our rates went up 20% this year due to delivery and capacity charges that got passed through to the entire region

  • Some extremely dumb “smart” people

They should probably read the news a little bit more or comment on it less. Highly recommend going into any episode knowing that 50% of “facts” shared are bogus or half truths. All episodes sponsored by their bottom dollar rather any consideration for anyone else in this world.

  • What has happened?

Since Trump has been in office this group has ceased having robust discussions that presented both political views as well as educating audience on emerging tech and projected impacts. Now it is all Trump and don’t worry be happy about the AI wave….very self serving. I am now very selective which shows and which guests I tune into.

  • Declining in value

This used to be a great listen. I loved the two sided conversations. That’s gone. Every week it is hate on Anthropic. Then all praise of the administration. So repetitive. They all so badly want access (and have it) that nothing is nuanced anymore. It had become incredibly predictable. The show is desperate for new voices and opinions since the whole panel has their agenda and that’s very clear. What’s to learn when all they do is agree and pump their agendas and are desperate for clout?

  • From Good to Bad

It’s mostly a political channel nowadays. It was good for the first couple years but now just blind politics views that will benefit them the most

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Trillion-Dollar Industries AI Is Disrupting: Voice, Law & the End of the Billable Hour
Q: How do you mitigate against data leakage with customers' data?
We employ a three-pronged approach: trace everything generated, moderate both voice and text, and build systems that let users quickly verify whether a sample is AI-generated. We also support open-source models and maintain safeguards across the ecosystem.
Dan Loeb: The Lost Art of Short Selling, and Why Stock Picking is Back
Q: Can you walk us through how your investing evolved from a small shop to almost 30 billion in AUM?
The journey started with formal training at places like Warburg Pincus and Jeffries, then hands-on experience in distressed debt and event-driven strategies. Over time, the focus evolved from purely transactional bets to assessing business quality, management capability, and disruption, aided by technology and a broader platform that includes private credit and insurance.
Nate Silver Predicts: Democrats Take the House, Newsom Is Fading & AOC Might Win It All in 2028
Q: House and Senate predictions for 2028?
Democrats are favored to take the House, with the Senate being more uncertain and weighing state-by-state dynamics; forecasts emphasize incumbency, turnout, and district partisanship.
GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen's $56B Plan to Take Over eBay
Q: What is the core thesis behind pursuing an eBay acquisition?
The core thesis is that GameStop can dramatically expand value by combining with eBay to build a global, scalable marketplace with a strong collectibles and live commerce presence, leveraging physical stores as studios and logistics hubs, and creating liquidity for both physical and digital items.
Senators John Fetterman and Dave McCormick: Bipartisanship, Money in DC, Datacenters, Graham Platner
Q: Dave, is there a path to resolution?
There is a path if both sides commit to practical concessions, focus on energy and data-center realities, and resist letting partisan narratives derail the work that benefits Pennsylvanians and the country.
