Used to be my go to. Now it’s overly focused on politics and (what appears to be) a hyping of the US war machine. I understand that defence is important but the balance has been completely skewed.
Hadn’t listened to this for a while and shocked to hear the content. Used to be a great podcast about founders trying to change the world, now it just seems to be about VCs trying to change your mind.
5-star content, 1-star politics. Does Marc give new employees a MAGA hat while onboarding? Excellent work as a firm helping an authoritarian into office.
The recent Free Press politics crossover ep was a borderline joke. Words don’t equal violence unless it’s liberals calling out fascist tactics? Really? Have you heard this Pres speak? Have you read his posts? Convenient selective memory. But hey- at least the sycophancy to a dictator gets you a TikTok allocation, right A16Z?
This podcast is great when they’re talking about tech and business. But I’m hearing less and less of that lately. I’m not here for Marc and his cronies’ political talking points. Don’t make this into anti-vax corner.
This podcast which used to be part of Silicon Valley and tech scene has now become part of the Maga news agenda.
It’s particularly troubling that it has done this without staying this clearly. Why do they need to do this ? What’s the goal ?
