Safe to Hope: Hope Renewed in Light of Eternity exists to offer women space to tell their stories of suffering and loss with care, dignity, and honesty. Though all suffering is loss, we ground that belief in a God who cares and remains present. This is our hope.

This podcast tackles the problem of evil that most Christians want to avoid avoid: families and networks of pedophile predators who abuse, torture, mind-control their own children, make money off trafficking them to other predators, and do all this while posing as Christians.
Anne Maree, the podcast host, has a kind and compassionate voice which soothes my troubled spirit.
The survivor featured in the 2025 Season (Carya) is a brilliant theologian, and her voice soothes me too.
I’m so thankful to listen to the trailers and hear the passion and vision for educating the Church and God’s people around abuse, trauma and sharing stories! I meet with abused women weekly and one of the most painful traumas to work through is how they were treated by the church when they went there for help. I hope this podcast will be a resource for everyone in the Church - for everyone has been traumatized to various degrees by this fallen world!
