Casual interview with rockstar Lzzy Hale of the band Halestorm (!!). SO thrilled to have her on the podcast to talk about what it's like to be an unapologetic woman in a male dominated field — in this case the music industry and especially the rock g... more

Had to dip out so fast after their dec 2024 episode. No idea how they are against patriarchy if they cannot fathom boycotting amazon, starbucks or wapo owned by genocidal, racists, misogynistic billionaires. Open a history book. It works. Look at starbucks numbers, it worked. It’s one thing to be sceptical, another entirely to thing people trying to do something are dumb for trying.
Allison’s podcast is a breath of fresh air. You’ll be entertained and educated at the same time! Highly recommend sharing with the men in your life who need help understanding our plight. Excellent show!!! Keep it up, Allison.
Love the podcast, but you really do yourself a disservice when you don’t fully do research!! You’re constantly saying how you don’t fully know the details or you didn’t fully look into the topics you’re speaking about. For example on the newest episode: people who live in Transylvania are not Slavic, simple Google search would’ve told you that, but you didn’t bother to look into it. It really discredits all the work you’re doing, and arguments you’re making as feminists. Every episode, there’s s... more
Brilliant podcast, the right amount of feminism, humor and sadness. Sad girls against the patriarchy tackles real world problems as well as historical facts about feminism with a blend of inclusive language and funny quips.
I started listening to this podcast in September and just caught up. Alison and Alexis are the fierce, bold, hilarious, research and experientially based feminist baddies we need in such dusty times! I really cannot thank you both enough for how seen and heard you have both made me feel within the feminine experience, which can often feel so isolating and rage inducing. This is my number one most recommended podcast, and I look forward to continue raging against the patriarchal machine with my p... more
