  • So helpful

Thank you for this podcast! I have suddenly had to confront the aging parents situation in the last two months and I felt so clueless and lost on this topic. My parents have been separated since the 70’s and both live in rural places and are both in their mid-80’s; I have to help them separately. They are both very against assisted-living and I am suddenly realizing they expect ... more

  • You’ll find insights you don’t know you need… until you do!

Our 90 year-old mother has been healthy, active, image conscious and engaged in community until recently.

Over the past year, Mom, who is widowed and lives alone, has had singular “incidents” that we are now forced to look at as a whole. She caused a fender bender, fell for an online scam, then she really fell in the bathtub, and finally we see a steep decline in self-care.

She is not willing to “go to a place”.

We adore Mom and want what’s best for her, but we are in uncharted territory.

  • Variety of Shows

The thing I love most about this podcast is the variety of shows: from solo episodes about Rebecca’s experience as a clinician and granddaughter to expert guests and “average” guests discussing their experiences (good and bad) dealing with their aging parents. I also love Rebecca’s willingness to be transparent and her ability to tackle difficult topics in a non-judgmental way.
