Is this really accurate??
Curiosity pulled me in since I was a valet at The Gold Club for one Summer. Story was great for me, but the storyteller’s vocal fry made incredibly hard to stomach. If I didn’t have a background to The Gold Club I would have turned off due to the vocal frrrrryyyyy.
I loved listening to the rise and fall of such a pop culture icon from the 90’s!
great storytelling - and a fascinating tale with an extra smooth soundtrack title track to boot 👌
The content is compelling and well produced. Though salacious, the story that is told is certainly an interesting one!
However, as compelling as the narrator is, I find her vocal fry to be a tad bit distracting, and is not to my personal taste as a listener. At times, the music and sound effects can be excessive.
