  • Love-Hate Relationship

I have a love-hate relationship with this podcast. I listen but a lot of the stuff is repetitive. I can’t tell you how many times he’s talked about journalist saying a case as a cold case and how he disagrees with that. I understand but it’s like it’s on autoplay for every podcast. Some of it is just him talking about how “we’ve been saying this all along.” And that’s fine but it’s repeated over and over. I like the stories he covers, but I just don’t always agree with his opinion. Like with the... more

  • Love it

Love this show. Informative without being violent. My dad was in law enforcement and used to tell me cop stories at bedtime—so I enjoy listening to your show when I’m going to sleep :)

  • Theorerists…

    I rest my case.

This guys is an expert at dramatically stating the obvious.

Is this show satire? It’s one of the most idiotic things I’ve ever heard.

    Fumbling with words, jumbled thoughts.

    Weird.

  • Pronounce victims names right!

If you’re going to have a true crime podcast, make sure you pronounce the victim’s names correctly!! Its’s so disrespectful to not get Xana’s name said correctly after 3 years. Listen to her family say it if that’s what you need to do.

After the Deadline: The Nancy Guthrie case takes a dark turn
Q: What happens next after the 5 p.m. deadline passes in a kidnapping case like this?
The hosts explain that investigations typically shift from negotiation to pursuit and recovery, with law enforcement maintaining pressure while trying to secure any available information and preserve the integrity of the investigation; the dynamic depends on whether proof of life is established and how the kidnappers respond through media channels.
The Lynette Hooker Case Why The Coast Guard Is Searching The Bahamas Now.
Q: So Daniel, you were the first one who alerted authorities about Brian's infrared camera. What did they say when you brought it up?
Daniel explains that authorities welcomed the information about the infrared camera as a lead, even if it didn't prove filming, because it supplied a potential timestamp and self-tracking capability that could connect movements to the power outage on the boat.
