Maybe the apology was self serving? Perhaps he is fearful of God’s hand at the end of his life. Most criminals capable of these types of crime only have self serving reasons. Pandering to him and him wanting to be better or the right thing is typical of those searching for excuses of accountability.

I really love this show and I think that the interviews are great and it’s very enjoyable, but I wish that the host would be nice to his mother. He gets very annoyed with her can be quite disrespectful. She’s an elderly woman and doesn’t remember everything and she’s not going to be around forever and someday you may listen back to these podcasts and reflect and think wow I shouldn’t have been so condescending to her.
