Maybe the apology was self serving? Perhaps he is fearful of God’s hand at the end of his life. Most criminals capable of these types of crime only have self serving reasons. Pandering to him and him wanting to be better or the right thing is typical of those searching for excuses of accountability.

  • Be nice to mom. She won’t be around forever.

I really love this show and I think that the interviews are great and it’s very enjoyable, but I wish that the host would be nice to his mother. He gets very annoyed with her can be quite disrespectful. She’s an elderly woman and doesn’t remember everything and she’s not going to be around forever and someday you may listen back to these podcasts and reflect and think wow I shouldn’t have been so condescending to her. If you don’t enjoy having her on the show, just do it yourself. I really do en... more

Cole Goldberg Speaks Out After NOT GUILTY Verdict in 90 Day Fiancé Attempted Murder Case
Q: What do you think about the media's role in your case and similar high-profile trials?
He argues headlines are not evidence and stresses patience for the court to reveal the truth, criticizing how media can influence juries and public opinion.
Breaking: Charlie Adelson's Appeal Denied!
Q: Now, Tim, you're a criminal defense attorney, so you've had clients, someone saying, sing Charlie, sing here. We'll see, maybe he throws his sister under the bus, maybe he throws his father under the bus, maybe he throws no one under the bus. What does preserve mean legally?
Preserve means you must raise the issue in a timely, proper written motion or objection with supporting evidence so the trial court can correct it; if you don't, the issue can't typically be raised on appeal, which severely limits the grounds for reversal.
Just in: Convicted Hitman Luis Rivera Writes Ruth Markel a Hand-Written Letter to Apologize
Q: What makes an apology sincere according to the professor?
A sincere apology involves confessing without excuses, offering a genuine remorse, acknowledging the victim's pain, valuing the relationship, and seeking forgiveness, with a commitment to never repeat the act.
Just in: Convicted Hitman Luis Rivera Writes Ruth Markel a Hand-Written Letter to Apologize
Q: Did the person who committed the crime ever reach out to the victims the way Luis Rivera has done now?
The host and experts explain that in Rivera's case the letter is a personal gesture aimed at the victim's family, not a grant of leniency; the legal penalties remain unchanged by such communications.
