In my opinion this podcast is the best cocktail related podcast. It is very informative and perfect for a person like me who likes to tinker at home with new liquor making interesting cocktails. I used to wander the liquor stores looking for things that sound or look good. Sometimes that worked and other times it did not and I ended up with a 750ml bottle of something I don't like very much (Pernod). Now all I need to do is listen to Greg and Lisa and they guide me to some really awesome and int... more
These two have a fantastic rapport and I learn something new about cocktails every single episode. Plus the production is top notch!
This is a great podcast for people who are into making offbeat drinks. Never knew about the Mark Twain. Very cool.
The hosts of Simple Podcasts do a great job of giving important information to the beginning cocktail enthusiast. Informative but not overwhelming.
The Simple Coctail Podcast is the perfect recipe for entertainment. As someone interested in learning more about the craft and history of cocktails, it delivers - on the house!
Podcasts like this really need two things to be listenable:
1. Good practical drink recipes
2. Hosts who are genuinely fun to listen to while chit-chatting
this has both!
Love the idea!! Hosts are very knowledgable, can't wait to make some of these drinks!
A really great podcast on drinking that focuses more on information rather then just listening to people get drunk. Short and sweet, and great sound quality.
Really good listen… Recommended!
I rarely drink but this show makes the drinks some so yummy i might just start
A great way to find new drinks. Super user-friendly, not posh and snobby. You can definitely replicate what they do on a budget - they even suggest it. Enjoy!
I enjoyed the content and the conversational discussion about cocktails. It's a bit off putting to have some people directly on mic and other people off mic/in the background talking on the show, so it might help to get everyone on mic. Overall a good bite size listen for the cocktail enthusiast
Love the information makes for great advice for bartending at home
The first thing I noticed when I played the podcast was the audio quality, which is amazing. That also lends to the next thing I like, which is Greg and Lisa's voices. It's not harsh, it's soothing and sort of mellows you out, making listening to the podcast really relaxing and nice on a drive or at night. As far as content goes, the hosts seem to bring history together with entertainment and education to create a nice trifecta of information and enjoyment. Keep it up!
who does not like to drink a contail from time to time`? and who has all the recepies in his mind? this podcast gives great inspirations :)
