Obviously this podcast is a giant advertisement. They don’t try to hide that, which I like. I’ve enjoyed hearing about how different foods are grown and produced. The hosts are polished and well-researched, and they present as professional, which I appreciate in this sea of podcast hosts who tend to think they’re much funnier and more clever than they are.
I have noticed that a few of the episodes have guests who engage in food moralizing and diet talk, such as suggesting something can be paire... more
I like Trader joes, but I don’t like the idea of making a podcast about it. Sorry…😔
Nice way to learn about new products and thoughts behind TJ’s goods. But they do eat “on mic” and if you can’t handle someone eating in your ear you might want to skip this. Not every episode includes it but many do.
I’m not even one of those people who is obsessed with Trader Joe’s, but this podcast is slowly turning me into a big fan! The hosts’ voices are calming and I always learn something interesting!
It would be so nice if all this great info were delivered in a less scripted way, no shade to the hosts. I really want to fully enjoy it, the tone sounds like what watching a tech product announcement feels like. It used to be exciting but we’ve all moved on from the choreography of it all. Trader Joe’s we all know you’re selling product and we’re here for it, but could you drop the try hard delivery?
