  • Fun episodes

I really enjoyed the episode with Alan Alda. The things I don’t like is Dan has a tendency to virtue signal and pat himself on his back. I would like to hear more pure stories about food and less about politics. Overall it’s a good show with some terrific concepts.

  • More about social media influencers than food

I love Dan Pashman and I’ve always enjoyed his contributions on a different podcast that truly is about food and cooking, so I was excited about him starting this podcast. But after several episodes, I was just disappointed that every episode revolved around some gimmicky social media influencer. Social media is a big corny popularity contest that is kinda like adults opting to go back to high school, and interviewing influencers is just like choosing to talk to the most popular kids instead of ... more

  • Enough with the cascatelli already

I like Dan and the show in general, but I’m so tired of hearing him talk about cascatelli like it’s revolutionizing the pasta world. Hearing about what goes into the design and manufacturing of pasta was an interesting miniseries. I even did the initial preorder and have picked it up a few times when I see it in the grocery store. It’s fine, but please stop acting like it’s anything more than radiatore cut into 3 pieces 🙄

  • Surprising

I’m not always interested in the name of the topic, but every episode offers something compelling. Love the pasta updates in particular.
