I tried to contact this group on their website but every link I click takes me to the email app I already have and won’t let me send an email because it is a different version of the app? Also, they make a statement on their website that anything you say can and will be used against you? They are making it very hard to send any tips or feedback? I am not on social media.
the antidote to corporate whitewashed sanitised optimised psychedelia. this podcast looks at psychedelic history, research, and culture through a post-colonial lens, delivering you nuanced hot takes that you sure ain’t getting from Michael Pollan or Joe Rogan.
I really really really want to like this podcast, but I can’t stay focused on it. It’s rambling and doesn’t seem planned. So far each episode I listen to requires a lot of prior knowledge of some specific talk/show/writing that they don’t bother to reference clearly or debrief the listener on.
Thank you for having the courage and dedication to make this podcast. Your content and analysis really resonate with my experiences in psychedelic spaces. I work for a psychedelic therapy corporation and have become so disillusioned. Listening to this helps me feel less alone and crazy.
Biggest problem is glaring lack of knowledge re: cptsd treatment & how it relates to psychedelic space. Very close minded & arrogant hosts. Just because they have PhDs doesn’t give them instant credibility & authority. Reference to the *borderline* was blatant *tell* in their ignorance & insensitivity. Survivors need advocates in this space. Unfortunately, it’s not them nor Lily that will turn things around ethically. They’re too invested in their following on social media. So very anti-capital... more

The show offers sharp, critical examination of psychedelic science, ethics, and culture, often centering funding, media narratives, and industry dynamics. Episodes frequently unpack controversies, journalistic integrity, and the broader ecosystem surrounding psychedelics, with a running emphasis on transparency, accountability, and social justice. The tone tends to be rigorous, skeptical, and policy-minded, with roundtable-style discussions and guest analysis that challenge mainstream narratives. It's probably most valuable to listeners who want nuanced takes on research, ethics, and the socio-political context of psychedelic work, rather than light, surface-level coverage. A notable strength is its willingness to connect science with polit... more
