Compelling conversations through a very specific lens make for a good listen every time. Alas, while I don't begrudge podcasters monetizing with ad inserts, this show drops them in literally mid-sentence, which greatly diminishes the listener experience. Fix that and it's a five star.
I look forward to the Team Human podcast more than any other show. And podcasts are my favorite form of media besides books.
So I thought I’d give Doug a try. I’m rooting for him.
Douglas continues to offer important ideas and important question for the these interesting times. He continues to reorient me towards thoughtful optimism and, for that, I remain grateful and inspired.
Usually enjoy Douglas’s podcast and particularly liked his analysis of the scientific wing of the Epstein class. As a non-elite scientist I demand better representation by the “guiding lights”. Not all of us are card carrying reductionist materialists. And it was never clear to me why a significant fraction of the scientific elite are doctrinaire jerks; I guess that’s matter in motion fer ya !
