Brandy is a wonderful host and effortlessly creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for “peculiars” where we can get to know some of our favorite authors a bit better. Not to miss!
I love this idea - a deep dive into the weird and unusual, and creating community around that. I've been really excited about several of the books/author selections. But time after time I am frustrated by how much the host dominates the conversation. I feel like at least half of every episode is made up of the host's stories and commentary, and while that is sometimes interesting, I came to hear the author talk.
