This show has truly helped my mental health. I have a very independent toddler and I was just overwhelmed by parenthood. This show has helped me so much.
Wish I’d found it sooner. My girls are 18 and 15, yikes…I’d love to hear you speak with the occasional guest addressing parenting of older teens and young adults. As you know, we don’t stop parenting just cause they grow up, it’s just different. Either way, I’ll be listening, lots of what’s discussed here applies either way.
Thank you for this podcast! I love to time in weekly, it’s the peak of my week 😘
I love listening to this podcast because your voice and delivery is just so down to earth. I also love your laugh and find myself trying to weirdly mimic it LOL! “Protecting the Gift” is a great book to recommend as an extension of “how to keep little ones safe”. You also mentioned on another episode the importance of connecting with your kids teachers. As a socially awkward person I would love an episode with tips on how to do that :-)
My wife and I are expecting our first child in June, and this program is really helpful. As a black man, it’s great to see people within the culture who are educated and experienced in what they are saying and providing helpful insight on the things to come and how to help our little ones grow into whole, healthy, competent, loving people. more
