I love this podcast and have followed Dr. Shefali’s work for years with my son. He’s not a teen and we are hitting new territories, resistance and attitudes. These real life episodes are like a warm balm that it’s all a part of the curriculum, we are not alone and there are tools to navigate parenting challenges. We get to grow up together with our kid.

Lets all remember that Oprah also loved Dr Phil. This doctor makes lots of assumptions about this parents experience, claims to understand and then makes it sound like it can be compared to parents with neurotypical kids. Completely arrogant and seems to know it all. A well trained psychologist would know not to make these mistakes. She sounds awfully confident but don’t be fooled…
