  • Ads ads ads

Such a turn-off that the ads cut the speakers off mid-sentence. Really? You can’t just wait until the end of a thought to stick in a random ad?

  • Overuse of “like”

Almost every guest on the podcast uses ‘like’ too often, and it sounds as if they are just thinking out loud without much structure. It might help to provide a script or key points in advance to make the conversation more polished and engaging.

  • They just read off a list of questions

Listened to the Hilary Duff episode so maybe it’s not an accurate representation of the podcast as a whole. But she’s just reading a list of questions to the interviewee without actually having a conversation or acknowledging anything she said, other than to segue into the next question. I know it’s not intentional, but it comes off as disrespectful & puts all the work on the interviewee & makes for a very boring listen.
