  • Question

This may be a dumb question. Could long COVID be COVID jumping back and forth from a domestic animal, such as a human to dog and back? I had heard it’s in a deer and some other animals, and it jumps back to humans. Can you have an episode on this subject?

  • Good enough

Nice quick easy skim of current covid info. If you want a more detailed deep dive into current covid situation go to a different podcast… but this is a nice brief broad view. Please cover long covid PASC more when discussing the “end” of this pandemic into endemic. This is a disabling condition many are living with >2 years. Being more informative on this urgent issue isn’t being pessimistic- it’s realistic and any more info that can be brought to public will help people make daily decisions.

  • Saving live

I believe wholeheartedly that these podcasts on the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic help to cover many aspects involving new variants, spikes or waves…how to take necessary precautions such as age factors, immune compromised people and informs people like myself and others who listen in about vaccines, updates about side affects from those getting vaccinated and those who are not. Also covers all ages, immune compromised and much much more. It is keeping us, “we the people” on alert and safer. Th... more

  • Always Fresh Insights and Information You Can Use

I listen to almost every known podcast on COVID and this always delivers fresh insights not found on others. Dr. Kissler is clear, kind, and reasonable—balls and strikes. I use the information to protect the workforce I oversee and see around corners with this ever-changing information landscape. The host, Matt Botteger, asks about the real world concerns we’re all facing to great effect.

  • Very informative and easy to understand

I have been listening to this podcast almost since the first episode, all the way from South of France. I find it very informative and well constructed without any bias toward a direction or an other. Also it is very easy to listen to and understand as I am no way near working in the medical field. I highly recommend this podcast

  • Making the science of the pandemic accessible

I have been listening throughout the pandemic and I have been remiss in not leaving a review (or maybe I have previously - it’s been a long 20 months).

It has been fascinating to hear an epidemiologist discuss what he’s learned about a novel virus in real time. It has also been reassuring to receive useful, actionable advice on living life and managing risk during the most significant global crisis of my lifetime.

The information is delivered clearly and without the hysteria and sensationalism... more

  • Timely, informative, relatable information

I’m very happy I discovered this podcast. I’ve been listening mainly in the last couple of months. I really appreciate the scope of information and how what is discussed is backed up by the most recent data. In a rapidly changing environment it is really helpful to have data to make informed decisions about behaviors. This week for example they provided concrete ways to help make family gatherings more safe. Thank you for the work you’re doing.

  • Jails as a predict increase cases

I work in a jail, we have two facilities, and one facility holds our vulnerable inmates and positive cases. I work in the Seattle. We test anyone coming in our facility and we have a mask mandate, anyways I can tell when our transports increase to our covid units, that we will be having another wave of hospitalizations. I had emailed this to our public health and different tracking people and asked, besides our sewer facilities, why wouldn’t you use Jails and track the community coming in, we ar... more

The hosts add a dash of nuance and every now and then some humor amongst the informative content and so it’s overall quite enjoyable. Some very helpful insights into the relevant issues presented at the time. I really like the last podcast. Please do a follow up with regards to the boosters and mixing and mat... more

  • Very informative podcast

Love the podcast. Great way to stay up to date on the latest pandemic info. I’m an RT and this podcast is a great way to keep up with the newest variants, treatment and vaccine information. Hosts are nuanced and do a great job explaining the latest studies and data. Only discovered it a week or so ago and went back and listened to the last few and learned a ton. Definitely my favorite “COVID” podcast.

  • Thought provoking

I have listened to this podcast since the very first episode. In New Zealand we always seemed to be one step behind, so this program was almost a ‘ what to expect next’ for me. I like the mix of questions and scientific response. Matt asks the very questions that are on my mind. Stephen and Mark’s responses are right on the button. Easily explained science. Thank you guys, keep up the good work. Pat Curry, Nelson, New Zealand.
