I am an American archaeologist interested in the archaeology of the UK, although I have no expertise. I visited sites like the Ridgeway, Waylands Smithy, and White Horse Hill in the past and want to visit again and learn more. Andy’s presentations are so well researched, interestingly written, and thought provoking, I sometimes have to listen more than once and even stop my car to fully take it in. This is a terrific podcast with first-rate writing and narration. I’ve enjoyed every episode so far and I’m always looking forward to the next one. My only friendly recommendation is different music. The ‘80s Cassio is sort of shrill and at odds stylistically with the mood of the material.
