The Middle Grade Mavens podcast is an entertaining and informative podcast great for library staff, parents, teachers, writers and lovers of middle grade reads.
I love Middle Grade Mavens. Although I write Picture Books, I read Middle Grade and YA, so it’s terrific to know what’s new out there. The questions Julie and Pamela ask each other really get to the essentials of whether a book would be suitable for a specific child . . . or me!
Industry expert’s interviews also help keep me in touch with the KidLit industry and my craft. Once in a while the Mavens even throw in a Picture Book or an author does both MG and PBS which is a bonus.
I love listening to the book recommendations and interviews conducted by Pamela and Julie. My only pain-point is waiting for the official release date as the Mavens usually get to read them early!
Hip hip!
With three voracious readers aged 7, 8 and 10, there is always a wonderful new read to takeaway from Julie and Pamela’s reviews and interviews.
Hooray! Thank you for the wonderful list of reads ❤️
