I have listened to every episode of Mamas talkin loud. I love it and am always inspired by the honesty from all the guests. It’s such a beautiful podcast.
Mandy’s breast cancer journey really hit home. This year I followed my husband’s breast cancer journey as he underwent a double mastectomy. I was so careful to be mask wearing my around him. Unfortunately, we both just tested positive for Covid. Getting through this Covid journey and the cancer was the most challenging.
I live for this podcast! I’m not a woman, I’m not a mama, I’m not even a parent. Hell, the closest I’ve come to parenting is caring for actors I’ve dressed on Broadway (and that’s been plenty for me). But the things I’ve learned though these women, and yes, occasionally men, who have chosen to take on the challenge of parenting in this beyond challenging time and awe-inspiring, eye-opening, thought-provoking, and always deeply felt with a wry sense of humor.
