Hosts Drew and Emma engage an intoxicating array of guests - lovely creatures all - in casual, often irreverent dialogue about recovery from alcoholism. The stories are personal and sincere, of the sort you’d hear when small groups of alcoholics gather for coffee and intimate chat. Though the trut... more

It’s conversational and relatable. I found it engaging and look forward to more episodes.
Real life, informative, and personal! Thanks for sharing !
Though it would appear most involved with this podcast are AA members it is surprisingly free of the AA dogma and rhetoric one often hears at meetings. I was genuinely surprised by the sincere, often irreverent spirit of the hosts. And the guests are remarkably forthright, sharing details of their stories not typically heard in AA talks. I wish meetings were more like this.
Such an amazing podcast for folks in recovery (or not!!) that know the struggle of trudging and the hilariousness that comes along with such a self centred illness. I know the peeps that do this podcast irl and let me tell u they’re literal comedians🤣
