I doubt there actually are any diaries. This is all taken from letters.
I tuned into something which seemed to be entitled “Hitler’s English Girlfriend”, only to find myself listening to a very different podcast series entitled “Lost Voices: The Story of James and John”. But I’m very glad I listened to it. It is chilling, excellently researched and narrated, and a powerful warning about the need to keep fighting for human rights in these troubled times.
Chilling to listen to a sycophantic narcissist playing cutsie girlfriend in the midst of growing global terror and chaos. Her words are definitely provocative. My mouth hang open most of the time. I bounced between gasps of disbelief at her callousness and massive eye-rolls and fake retching at her base idiocy. You deserve a medal for having to endure the whole insufferable diary. Fantastic voicing. Matches exactly 2 printed version. Voice inflection is magnificent. Super interesting and very well done. Congratulations daily mail.
You hear a lot of reading from the diary. I would have loved to hear more how they discovered the diary and more historical context.
Frankly just listening to the diary is like listening to a seventeen year old following her crush, that happens to be Hitler.
