Inside Nithya Raman’s Campaign: Can She Transform LA? | Capítulo 264
Q: How can people support your campaign and engage with the process ahead of the June 2 election?
People can follow on social media, sign up to volunteer on the campaign site, share content, and participate in the voting process to influence the city's future.
Inside Nithya Raman’s Campaign: Can She Transform LA? | Capítulo 264
Q: Do you support expanding the Los Angeles City Council to better represent its diverse communities?

Inside Nithya Raman’s Campaign: Can She Transform LA? | Capítulo 264
Q: What would you do differently on homelessness if elected mayor, given the high costs and mixed outcomes of the current approach?
Shift from expensive hotel/motel approaches to cost-effective, outcome-focused solutions like short-term rental vouchers with case management to keep people indoors, with stronger oversight to ensure dollars translate into real results.
Inside Nithya Raman’s Campaign: Can She Transform LA? | Capítulo 264
Q: You filed your candidacy on the last day possible to file. Was this strategic or did something specific inspire you to run?
The decision was driven by growing frustration with city leadership and the limitations of City Hall, especially after a period of what felt like shrinking resources; the timing reflected a push to address urgent issues rather than pre-planning for months.
