Alan Berg was starting over as a divorcee, disbarred lawyer and recovering alcoholic when he found his true calling on the radio. His brash and bold on-air persona made him one of the true renegades in a “shock jock” revolution that took over broadcast media in the 1980s. Despite the numerous enemies the brash Berg made through his radio show, the world was stunned when he was assassinated outside... more

For the level of seriousness and care that is shown to all of Berg’s bereaved family and friends, it’s a bit tasteless to use such violent imagery as your cover art. I can only imagine how all the people who opened up to you about their pain and loss feel, looking at this image sensationalizing the violent death of this man. Yikes.
All that being said, the show is in need of a heavy hand in editing. What is the purpose of each clip? Have you thought it through? Many clips of audio and many par... more
I’m an iheart monthly subscriber, way too many ads. Also did not need to hear a 3 min ad for a period.
I think Alan himself would have yelled “GET TO THE POINT!” And hung up on this podcast.
The recap takes up most of each episode. It makes the podcast drag.
love the subject and hosts but it's 50% ads so lost interest. The sound effects are also distracting. Sadly i stopped following because of ads.
First I recommend starting each episode 10 minutes in because the first is an unnecessarily long recap. The interview with the old fbi agent who will only use a phone is almost impossible to listen too. For something used this much they should have gone in person for this.
