我們總以為創作是一種外向的說話方式，
但許曉薇的影像提醒我們——
有些作品，是從不願說話的地方長出來的。
她說她拍蜗牛，是因為牠們太慢了，
慢到不適合這個城市，慢到只能鑽進地底，
用黏液記錄自己的路徑，用沉默佔據一點點空間。
而那個地底通道，潮濕、暗、沒有人，
卻也因此成為一個容納異物的所在。
也許，那正是創作最初的樣子：
不是展示，而是躲藏。不是姿態，而是一種潛伏的觀看。
到了《花之器》，她又讓植物長進身體，
