謝謝你們一直堅持做對的事，謝謝你們沒有刻意做帶風向的事情。我前前後後聽報導者的節目應該至少有三年了，最穩定收聽應該是從去年下半年至今。前一段時間你們訪問聽友，裡頭有一位旅居荷蘭的Wendy，她提到的一些旅居海外的心聲跟我真的很雷同，更巧的是，我的英文名字也是Wendy。
黎光的那集我分享給我的母親，因為對我來說分享給同輩的比分享給長輩還難。但是那集的故事我知道在我分享給我母親聽之前，我口述大意時，已經很吸引我母親的注意力了。
不知道留言處有沒有字數限制，收聽的感想其實有很多。
最近剛上的這一集，關於花蓮受災戶跟香港宏福苑後續的追蹤報導，讓我再次被提醒。
他們需要的不是被同情，而是被同理。
當我們給予同情，無形之中把自己擺在一個高姿態的狀態而不自知。我們哪裡能說「我懂、我明白呢？」
但是同理，卻是一個嘗試去傾聽，並更積極的問「你需要我為你做什麼？」
What they need is not the sympathy, but the empathy.
我們真的明白了嗎？
